Spot5 Art Center is dedicated to cultivating a modern, creative community by providing current and professional art instruction in friendly, pleasant surroundings while catering to the varying and changing materials needs of our local artists, teachers and students. We aim to build personal and long term relationships with residents and visitors through our classes, gallery, and supplies store. We will continue to foster this exchange of art and ideas while supporting the individuals who put forth all of this energy and initiative: our staff, artists and teachers.

Location
Spot 5 Art Center and Clifton Art Supply are located at 2005 Frankfort Avenue  in an historic building that was originally a broom factory.  We love the Clifton neighborhood, with all the fun, interesting places to visit; like Sister Dragonfly boutique, Pottery Rowe & Shiraz Mediterranean Grill.

The staff and teachers of Spot5 have created an art supply store, gallery, and teaching studio for painting and drawing, ceramics, photography, printmaking and various workshops all under one roof.  Run by artists for artists, we are committed to giving our customers the kind of helpful and courteous service that a independent  business does best.

Clifton Art Supply is locally owned and run by visual artists. In addition to what one would expect to find at an art supply, C.A.S. offers clay and raw materials, custom canvas, damage repair on paintings and some 'exclusive to Louisville' lines - such as Daniel Smith Watercolors and Louvre Oils.

Prices are reasonable and discounts to professional artists, teachers and students are offered. Special orders are processed in a few days with no extra charge.
