Using vivid color, bold shapes and interesting subjects, campers tap into their natural joy with expressing! This camp explores painting at the easel, the mixing of materials and learning about artists who came before us.

This camp gets the student planning and executing quickly, breaking the timidity and overwhelming barrier of starting a painting. College level curriculum, fun for all. Kind of like boot camp, but with paint!

Underwater and above water creatures and worlds come to life with different mixed media techniques that explore color value contrast and texture.

Thorough instruction on solid design and the properties of glass, students construct pieces using the slumped mold method.
M- 15 Accessorizing the Runway
open for ages 9+
Bling, hair-gear, scarves and other accessories are crafted in this camp. It is a nice stand alone camp for those wanting to learn DIY gifts or for those attending the Runway camp.

T-13 Sketching in Public
The trick to getting good subject matter is to go out in the world and get it. How to capture that subject matter without raising attention and how to use what you capture back in the studio.
Permission slip needed, we will be going somewhere everyday.

T-14 Slumped Glass Art
Thorough instruction on solid design and the properties of glass, students construct bowls and platters using the slumped mold method.

Ceramic creating is a great way for young kids to learn 3-D skills. Hand-building, wheel throwing, relief work, glazing and decorating are covered in this camp.

A Spot 5 favorite camp! All new format this year!  Design your own clothes from the print on the cloth to the finished product. This camp ends with a runway show and photo shoot on Friday.

M-16 Runway for Apprentices
This year, more changes! Advanced design and creation skills in this camp for 12 and older. Students learn construction, print design and color palettes as they make their own
creations and walk them on the runway and photo shoot on Friday.
M-17: Fine Arts Studio
This class is curriculum based with a versatile instructor! Students choose from Painting, Cartooning, Drawing, Printmaking, or mix it up. Good for beginning to advanced.

How to use that great camera to get the most from it and also a more professional side of photography, this camp deals with lighting, framing and the choices that portrait, photojournalist and event photographers need to know.
T-16: Fine Arts Studio for Teens
This class is curriculum based with a versatile instructor! Students choose from Painting, Cartooning, Drawing, Printmaking, or mix it up. Good for beginning to advanced.
                           Composition in painting deals with an interesting way to arrange the subject and to break up the  two dimensional plane.
